Hello duck hunters. This is a high quality well made product. I think the “WhipSplash/Drake decoy is actually better than the battery operated robo ducks because you are in control of the time and moment it flashes/spins. Sometimes hard and steady but other times just a quick flash is all you need; but the best part is you’re in control. And everyone knows that geese don’t like robos so if you don’t have a remote on your battery operated robo duck the geese won’t finish into your blind. This isn’t a problem for the WhipSplash decoy. Again, great product made by hunters and good people. When I received my decoy there was a hand written note thanking me for my order and wishing me good luck on my duck season (very nice and appreciated) personal touch. I recommend this decoy to any duck hunter who wants to be different and in control of the robo flash or hunts in a state where battery operated robo ducks are illegal.

Just got it, haven’t used it. Just looking at the construction, it is built like a hoss. All metal, no plastic. Used last a long time. Can’t wait to use it on my #1 pick at Sauvie!
